Tough Ellie

I would like to say that this is the first time that Ellie has fallen flat on her face, but she has already knocked out 3 teeth on 2 different occasions.  Ellie was at figure skating yesterday and hit her toe pick and face planted the ice.   She didn't cry too much and  I figured that she had a bloody nose but it was a pretty bad cut on the bad part of her chin that was wide open when she moved her mouth.  She was pretty brave at the hospital and only cried when they cleaned it out so she was a trooper!

Our baby is not going to be the baby for much longer!!  I'm not sure if she is ready to give up that spot in our family though :)

Even though the girls look pretty funny in these pictures I think that Ryan cracks me up the most in the last one.  What the heck is he doing???

French Lesson

I know that it looks like a figure skating lesson but Awnley is also getting a French lesson at the same time from her coach Marie.  She gets such a kick out of her French-Canadian coach talking French, and it must be working because Awnley has already improved so much this year!

Our Life Isn't All Skating....

The girls love Volleyball too!  They are in fall Volleyball and if things go as planned Awnley will be doing JO Volleyball this summer as well.

First of Many Days of Skating

Brittain had her first day of skating last Tuesday.  She was pretty nervous and she really didn't want her picture taken.  She did okay...came off the ice to go potty and then was refusing to go back on.  She eventually did and finished her first day out like a star.  Day 2 on Thursday went muuuuucccchhh better.  She was skating (walking on the ice) like a pro, she just needs to figure out how to stand back up after she falls.
